Trackplan

The trackplan is continually evolving and I enjoy planning the layout as much as building it. The plan is drawn up in the Adobe 'Illustrator' software on my Apple Mac G4 computer. 'Illustrator' allows me to draw the plan at an incredible 1 to 1 scale. The plan was then divided into 200mm squares which I can print out individually. These are then pasted directly onto the layout to give me a guide to work to.

There are two levels to the layout. The lower level track is in red and the upper level in purple, with the inclines in yellow.
