Completing the backscene boards

The existing backscene boards were extended and painted today, to complete the full 360˚ enclosure. The corner section has also gained its baseboard top.
Starting at the ‘Dalesmouth’ end, the backscene boards now extend all the way around to the water tank. Note how much the white block wall increases the light.

Today the frame work for the final piece of the upper level was constructed.
This corner piece takes the branchline from ‘Overdale Quarry’ to the viaduct that leads to the ‘down’ incline.
Here you can see the gap between the corner piece and the begining of the ‘down’ incline in the foreground.
